The exhibition is a spectacular joint art project between photography duo Ľubomír Sabo and Zuzana Sénašiová /LSZ photography/, ethnologist Katarína Sabová, and painters Sarah I. Avni and Ivana Mintálová, which brings traditional values back to life through modern and original art.
The uniqueness of these original paintings is a rare combination of art and science – photography, ethnology, face painting, and artistic painting. Traditional wedding headgears called "party", selected from different Slovak regions, are complemented with painted folk ornaments to present these long-forgotten customs to the contemporary world. Sponsored by Onur Sumer, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Kocaeli, and curated by Art Historian and Museologist Irem Konucu, "PARTY in the 21st Century" was exhibited at Istanbul Airport, International Departures iGA Lounge in September 2021.
