The exhibition is a spectacular joint art project between photography-duo Ľubomír Sabo and Zuzana Sénašiová /LSZphotography/, ethnologist Katarína Sabová, and painters Sarah I. Avni and Ivana Mintálová. Reviving traditional values with a modern and original artistic approach, this project offers a rare combination of art and science: photography, ethnology, face-painting, and artistic painting. Traditional wedding headgears called "party" selected from different Slovak regions are complemented with painted folk motifs, bringing these long-forgotten customs to the contemporary world.
Sponsored by Onur Sumer (Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Kocaeli) and curated by art historian and museologist Irem Konucu, the "PARTY in the 21st Century" exhibition was displayed at the Izmit Municipality Art Gallery in November 2021.
